Venus in Taurus
Beauty and the Business
March 30 - April 24
I want you to imagine a woman who has been traveling. She has been moving through foreign landscapes. Adapting, experiencing, wearing different faces in different rooms. And then she arrives home. She walks through the door, she takes off her shoes, and she runs her hands along the walls of a place that knows her. She fully exhales for the first time in a long time.
That is the energy that Venus brings when it enters Taurus.
Venus is the planet of beauty, magnetism, pleasure, worth. She governs what we find beautiful, what we are drawn to. How we receive. Taurus is one of the signs that Venus rules over, so during this transit she is not a guest. She is the woman who designed and built the house.
Taurus is slow and deliberate. It is the smell of something baking. It is linen that has been washed so many times it has gone soft. It is the kind of beauty that does not announce it is there, but you cannot stop looking at it. When Venus comes home to this sign, everything she governs gets grounded and embodied.
Today begins the start of my annual Venus return, with my natal Venus being in the sign of Taurus. This is one of my most cherished placements, because it speaks volumes about who I am as a woman. In the way I have always moved slowly through creative work. In the way I cannot put something into the world until it feels genuinely beautiful and meaningful. In the way I have always adorned myself and built rituals around my daily life.
So this year, with everything I’m working on, it has arrived at the perfect moment.
Beauty has always been my doctrine
There has always been so much meaning within beauty for me.
My office has deep moody blue-grey walls. There are antique rugs on the floor, old paintings hanging where most people would put a whiteboard, dark academia busts on the shelves. It carries the same feeling as my Instagram grid.
I like to wear my moonstone talisman that I had made for me by an amazing jewelry artist in Colorado. I do my makeup every morning not because I have to in order to be seen, but because it is part of how I enter my day. It is a ritual that brings me so much joy and makes me feel feminine.
For a long time I had this weird hangup about it. Does all of this make me appear shallow? As if somehow the attention I gave to beauty and environment and adornment was somehow at odds with the depth of who I am.
Venus in Taurus taught me that these are not separate things. The woman who tends her own beauty is the same woman who builds something that stops people mid-scroll. The impulse is identical. It just expresses itself in different forms.
For some of us, beauty is an art form. A doctrine we live by that brings us closer to our soul purpose and our connection with spirituality.

Quality, not quantity
Taurus is the bull who will not be rushed. The bull who can be found taking a nap in a field of flowers. It is the gardener who plants in Spring knowing she will not see the flower until late Summer. Taurus understands something the online industry has largely forgotten, which is that the most enduring things take time.
Taurus should not be misunderstood as passive energy. Taurus works. It is one of the most productive signs in the zodiac. But it works slowly and with enormous care, and it refuses to sacrifice quality for speed.
The invitation is to stop building from urgency and start building from devotion. To tend rather than push. To ask not ‘how do I grow faster?’ but ‘how do I build something that truly reflects who I am?’
The business you’re rushing belongs to someone else
Here is what I have witnessed for years. A constant low hum of urgency that ruminates in the background like white noise from a television. Post more. Launch sooner. Be more visible. Grow faster. The pressure to produce has become so normalized that slowing down feels almost irresponsible and lazy.
And yet the brands that actually stop us, the ones we screenshot and save and return to, were never built that way.
I built Artemis Aligned slowly. Intentionally. With more care than probably has ever made strategic sense. I cannot tell you how many times I heard a coach say ‘this is the part where people spend way too much time on the aesthetic.’ I only have 136 posts and am approaching a 10k follower milestone. I am pretty sure almost every single person connected with my visual language before reading anything, so for me, the time I spend on my aesthetic is incredibly valuable. I have never chased the algorithm. I have never posted something I didn’t think was beautiful.
I have tended my brand the way I tend my office, my altar and myself… which is with patience and a genuine commitment to beauty. When I launched Month of the Mystic last year, every set of candles that a client received as a gift was hand made, rolled with flowers and infused with devotion, right down to the Artemis Aligned logo that I personally stamped on the box.
Why? Because I love it. Because I can’t not do it. I want women to feel special when they are part of my world. Venus in Taurus didn’t teach me that, but she validates it every time she comes home.
In order to get to a point in your business where certain tasks can be done more quickly, you have to have spent the time actually developing your work with that deep intention in the first place. And it isn’t quick.
The brand you’re rushing through might not feel like yours because it isn’t yet. It’s a brand you’re building under pressure, which means it’s being shaped out of the hustle for financial exchange. The realm you actually want to inhabit takes longer. It requires sitting with things. Returning to them. Small acts of tending. That’s all it ever is.
For the love of beauty
Venus in Taurus is asking you to fall back in love with what you’re building.
Go back to your mood board and ask if it still feels like you. Sit with your color palette and notice what it evokes in your body. Rewrite one piece of copy until it sounds like your actual voice. Find one image that makes your heart move and ask yourself why.
Adorn your brand the way you adorn yourself, with the mindset that beauty is not the last thing you need to add after all the strategy is done. If it is meaningful to you, it can be the foundation everything else is built on.
Your soul aligned clients can feel the difference between a brand that was lovingly curated and a brand that was quickly thrown together. She may not be able to name it, but she certainly feels it. She feels it the moment she lands on your page, the same way you feel it when you walk into a ritual that has been arranged with care.
That feeling is what you’re building toward, and you cannot rush it.
If this resonated, the waitlist for Her Own Myth is open. Astrology, myth, beauty, branding & your signature work. This will be a long form container all about your realm rising to meet the truth of who you are.

So much depth that truly and deeply resonate. As a woman with Taurus in my north node this is my path forward and I feel how much I am deepening deeper into the slowness and the beauty in its full frequency🩷
What a beautiful piece of writing. I couldn’t agree more. I love this energy and felt like I could step into it as I read it. I’ve got Venus in Libra natally. 💕
